Jamaica was all that

Dear Family, I guess retirement has enabled my cocooning habits. It seems a long time since we went to Jamaica and I should have posted something. Our dear Daughter-in-law made arrangements and was sensible enough to book a hotel at O'Hara for the night before our flight. At least for me, it allowed me to take my anxieties one at a time rather than all at once. The flight was fine, Customs was confusing and it took a while to find our transportation. One pushy porter grabbed our luggage and then danced around demanding a tip, but other than him, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Roslyn had to chase around to find the carseat we brought for Sofia, but it had just been shoved to another carousel by zealous workers. We met the New York contingent and set off for the resort. Ah, the resort. Perfect setting, lovely pools, one handy beach; oh, and the hard sell for a time share. Once past that, it was all good. A delightful vacation. The little girls had a great time together and so did the grown-ups.
