California dreamin'

Dear Family:

Well, let's see if I can include our bodacious photos on this posting.  We had a GREAT time in California with Sally, including a trip to Yosemite.  We missed the Barrios' and it was a bit too far from Sonoma to Mountain View to connect on Friday.  Hope they had as good a time as we did!  Here are some photos of our trip to Yosemite.  The amazing part about taking photos in a place like this is how much better our eyes are than our cameras.  You don't really see the scale of these trees:

Again, the eye is mightier than the camera.  We looked back on the trail and saw a magnificent sight.  Not so hot with the camera since the faraway part was more washed out.  Still, pretty amazing!

 And, finally, Rick says that vacation photos should always have people in them.
