Home at Last

 Dear Family:

Well, I had thought I would be posting photos of Jamaica here by now, but it was not to be.  As you know, Daphne ended up in the hospital with pneumonia from an untreated ear infection (trying not to rant on urgent care doctors) and then an adenosine infection, which she may or may not have gotten from the hospital.  At any rate, the good news is that she came home from the hospital yesterday.

Our house is more or less halfway between the hospital and their house, so they stopped here on the way home.  It was heartwarming to hear that it was Daphne's idea.  She is not totally back to her old self - you should have seen her in the slow motion chase she played with her mom - but she is definitely on the mend.  We are keeping the dog for a few more days while they all readjust to being home.

I was going to post some photos, but I am at the upstairs computer and the photos are on my tablet.  Too Luddite to figure out how to get the photos from one to the other.

This photo is from Halloween and will have to do.

Hope all is well with all of you.  Thank you for your prayers and concerns for our eldest princess.
