Bleargh

OK, I think that the blog is sort of updated. Added the annoying animated header picture, added a recent comments list, added a link to Sally's blog, added a calendar, which should have a bunch of birthdays (and other junk which is non-Hoyer related, but I'll zap that soon), and changed the template to not squeeze the text so much.

Gripes, suggestions, requests?
